Would FM be the same station if you change its Amplitude? What if you change the Frequency on AM radio?

This shows the signal and the two ways of modulating it. Sort of a correlation by the transmitter of the signal wave and the carrier wave. The signal rides imbedded in the EM wave and can be separated once it gets to the receiver in your stereo. Changing amplitude generally increases the intensity of the signal, changing the frequency changes the signal or station that you are tuned to pick up. hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/audio/radio.html
